About us
MEIR Consulting SRL is a privately held Romanian company, founded in 2007, active on the market of green energy technical solutions. We started out wanting to transform our own property into a green home - to consume efficiently the energy we produced autonomously. As we moved forward with this pilot project that was our own home, we grew aware of the extraordinary potential this market had. Though the technologies were new and the market itself was only starting to come into form, we had and still have faith that we could explain and show the Romanian people what the benefits of these technologies are, of these green energy solutions which the more developed countries have been using for as long as 20-30 years. Countries such as Israel, Turkey, Austria, Holland and many others have understood how to exploit their natural renewable resources (sun, wind, water) and the use of green technologies is widely spread.
Increasingly more people are interested in green energy solutions. The reasons are both ecological and particularly financial. Our “green” range of solutions aims towards primarily reducing energy consumption, without affecting the level of comfort. In other words, the cheapest energy is the one not consumed.
The system’s dimensioning starts from a necessary quantity of energy. Then we develop the best integrated solution which could achieve the necessary quantity with minimum funding and the fastest return on investment.
We can produce electricity using wind in wind turbine systems and sun in the solar photovoltaic systems (or hybrid). Green energy thus produced can be stored in a battery system (if the target is energetic autonomy) or may be fed to the national electricity grid (the investment into the system will be paid off due to the fact that green energy is paid by the state network above market price) For heating we chose infrared heat transfer - currently leading technology, which provides, in comparison with conventional systems, a lower investment cost of up to 40%, no maintenance and operating costs decreased by 10-50% compared to classic fuels. Solar heat pipe panels fully provide the necessary hot water from March to November and about 20-40% the rest of the year; the system operates together with an electric boiler. The third largest category of energy consumers – lighting - ensured with LED light bulbs (which consume 90% less electricity compared to the classical ones) and solar street lights.
